Lowongan Kerja – PT Merdeka Battery Materials Tbk memiliki sejumlah portofolio aset bisnis yang berkualitas tinggi dalam rantai nilai mineral strategis dan bahan baku baterai kendaraan bermotor listrik (electric vehicle/”EV”) yang terletak di Sulawesi Tengah dan Sulawesi Tenggara, Indonesia.

Salah satu anak perusahaan kami adalah PT Sulawesi Cahaya Mineral (SCM). SCM adalah salah satu sumberdaya dengan kandungan nikel terbesar di dunia yang mengandung sekitar 13,8 juta ton nikel (kadar 1,22% Ni) dan 1,0 juta ton kobalt (kadar 0,08% Co). Tambang SCM pada awalnya dimiliki oleh Rio Tinto dan merupakan tambang terbuka yang besar, dekat dengan permukaan, dan berbiaya rendah, dalam konsesi seluas 21.100 hektar. Tambang SCM memiliki sumberdaya nikel limonit yang kaya, dengan komposisi campuran antara nikel limonit (77%) dan nikel saprolit (23%). Bijih nikel limonit adalah bahan baku yang digunakan dalam produksi Mixed Hydroxide Precipitate (“MHP”) melalui teknologi pemrosesan High Pressure Acid Leach (“HPAL”) yang kemudian dapat diiubah menjadi nikel sulfat untuk digunakan dalam produksi baterai kendaraan bermotor listrik;

1. Automation Solutions Analyst

Job Overview :

  • Support business solution initiatives by analyzing user pain points, documenting requirements, assisting in workflow and automation design, supporting pilot execution, and helping functions adopt approved solutions involving automation, Al, reporting, and digital tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Gather information from users and convert it into structured notes, issue logs, and requirement documents
  • Support process and workflow analysis to identify waste, delays, manual effort, and solution opportunities
  • Assist in preparing use case summaries, pilot scope, business requirement documents, and action trackers
  • Support prototyping and testing activities using approved tools for workflow, automation, Al, and reporting
  • Prepare simple dashboards, trackers, and analysis to support project decisions
  • Coordinate user feedback, pilot follow-up, and issue closure
  • Prepare training material, user guides, communication notes, and rollout support documents
  • Help track time savings, cycle time reduction, error reduction, and other value measures
  • Maintain disciplined project documentation and follow-up records

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Business, Management, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • Experience in business analysis, reporting, automation support, digital projects, PMO, operations support, or similar roles is preferred
  • Experience in industrial or operational environment is an advantage
  • Exposure to workflow tools, low-code tools, data handling, scripting, or Al tools is strongly preferred
  • Exposure to project coordination and user support is an advantage Strong logical thinking and structured problem solving
  • Good documentation and note organization ability
  • Good Excel capability
  • Comfortable learning and using automation and Al tools
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, AppSheet, Apps Script, SQL, Python, Bl tools, or similar platforms is an advantage
  • Able to support simple prototyping, testing, and solution configuration under guidance
  • Able to work with user-side process information and turn it into usable inputs
  • Chinese language capability is an advantage

2. Business Solutions Manager

Job Description :

  • You will be responsible to lead the identification, shaping, prioritization, and business-side implementation of solution initiatives across functions by translating business pain points into practical automation, Al, data, and workflow improvement opportunities, while coordinating closely with users, IT, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure adoption and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and prioritize high-value business pain points across functions
  • Translate unclear user needs into structured problem statements and solution requirements
  • Lead workshops with business users to define current issues, target outcomes, and implementation priorities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of automation, Al, and digital workflow use cases
  • Prepare business cases, pilot scope, implementation roadmap, and success measures
  • Coordinate with IT for technical build and with business teams for process readiness and adoption
  • Track pilot progress, user feedback, adoption issues, and realized value
  • Escalate blockers related to business ownership, user readiness, data quality, or unclear process decisions
  • Prepare concise updates for management on project status, risks, business value, and next actions

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Management, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in business improvement, business analysis, transformation, digital initiatives, PMO, process redesign, operations excellence, or similar work
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in industrial, mining, manufacturing, or other operationally complex environment is strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting digital workflow, automation, analytics, or Al-related initiatives is preferred
  • Experience dealing with site users and translating field needs into actionable requirements is strongly preferred
  • Strong problem structuring and business requirement writing ability
  • Good understanding of workflow redesign, user journey, and business-side implementation
  • Able to assess automation and Al opportunities from a business value perspective
  • Good data sense and ability to use facts to drive prioritization
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capability
  • Familiarity with process mapping, low-code workflow tools, reporting tools, or Al-enabled work tools is an advantage
  • Chinese language capability is mandatory

3. Reporting and Cost Control Officer

Job Overview :

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented professional responsible for budgeting, cost monitoring. and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning and operational efficiency. The role involves analyzing cost drivers, preparing reports, and providing insights to support management decisions while identifying cost optimization opportunities. This position requires strong cost accounting knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilites :

  • Prepare and manage budgets, as well as update cost forecasts based on production plans and market conditions
  • Monitor actual costs against budget and perform variance analysis to identify gaps and potential issues
  • Analyze cost per ton and evaluate key cost drivers, including energy, raw materials, and operational efficiency
  • Prepare periodic cost reports and provide insights to support management decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across operations
  • Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and allocation
  • Ensure all cost control processes comply with company policies and support internal/external audit requirements

Qualification :

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing industry or public accounting firm (KΑΡ)
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial analysis
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
  • Able to work collaboratively across departments
  • Willing to be placed in Morowali with a roster system (7 weeks onsite and 2 weeks leave)
